Animal Health Certificates
Animal Health Certificates are required for pets to travel with their owners to the EU. They are valid for a single entry into the EU within ten days (and for your return to the UK for up to four months).
We offer a visit to your home, with same-day certificate delivery, from £149.

OV66 ID Checks for Australia
In order for dogs and cats to be eligible for reduced (10-day) post-export quarantine in Australia, two separate OV66 vets (from different practices) must perform identity checks. These identity checks must be carried out before your pet's rabies blood test.
As Australian-authorised OV66 vets we can carry out first or second identity checks at your home. We can also issue RNATT Declarations to certify rabies blood test results.
We offer home-visit ID Check Declarations from £150, and RNATT (blood test) Declarations for £65.
Export Health Certificates
Export Health Certificates are required for pet travel outside of the European Union, or for the commercial movement of animals within the EU.
Requirements for Export Health Certificates vary greatly, but we are able to help with most.
Fit to Fly certificates
Some airlines and travel companies additionally require Fitness to Fly certification for travel.
Our vets can examine your pet at your home and issue a Fit to Fly certificate, at the same time as an AHC or EHC.

Who are we?
Farnham Pet Travel was launched in the spring of 2025 by Veterinary Surgeon Iain to help Surrey and Hampshire's pet owners travel more easily.
Farnham born-and-bred, Iain qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2018 before working as an Official Veterinarian (OV) at the only veterinary practice located inside Heathrow Airport. Since 2020 he's been working as a locum OV, helping established veterinary practices at Heathrow and elsewhere with their export services.
Iain has issued Export Health Certificates and Animal Health Certificates (and, prior to 2021, Pet Passports) to thousands of pets for travel to over 100 different countries. He holds the following Animal and Plant Health Agency Official Veterinarian approvals:

He is also OV66-authorised by the Australian government, to offer reduced quarantine requirements for pets travelling to Australia.
